Watertown Ford commercial truck division located just outside of Boston Massachusetts has all new 2010 Ford Transit Connect in stock.
The Transit Connect is Ford Motor Company’s all new, European inspired, small commercial van that will appeal to small business owners in the Boston area and fulfill the need for a fuel efficient work vehicle.
The 2010 Ford Transit Connect van has already been a hit with local Boston business owners and Watertown Ford is busy to keep up with the demand.
The Transit Connect is the perfect balance between fuel efficiency and capacity at a very affordable price. Watertown Ford’s Commercial Division has a great selection of Transit Connect vans to choose from that Boston businesses will love to test drive.
Boston commercial van drivers will be glad to know that the new 2010 Transit Connect Van has a maximum storage capacity of 143 cubic feet while sustaining great fuel economy, 19 mpg in the city and 24 mpg on the highway. The new Ford commercial van will be fully customizable with different aftermarket storage systems available from Sortimo and Adrian Steel.
The Ford Transit Connect measures in at 15 feet long and has a turning radius of just 39 feet curb to curb and standing at 6’8” the small commercial van is ideal for businesses that work in tight areas and need the maneuverability that the Transit Connect offers. The new barn-door hinges on the 50/50 split rear doors of Ford’s new commercial vehicle make it easier for loading and
unloading cargo.
Unique to the 2010 Transit Connect, Ford Work Solutions apply new technology to improve efficiency for small businesses that spend most of their time on the road. The new commercial van offers the option of an in-dash Windows computer that provides hands free telecommunication, Internet access and turn by turn navigation.
Ford Work Solutions has also paired up with DeWALT to provide technology that will keep track of tools stored in the vehicle. Using Radio Frequency Identification users can scan their van before leaving a job to insure that they have left no tool behind.
Ford Motor Company has left no details out in the development of the new Transit Connect.
The small van will offer an advanced stability control system that re-measures the rate of roll 100 times per second, insuring that the new commercial vehicle is safe for all businesses.
